Dose depends on water chemistry
The correct product and dose depend on ion concentrations, pH, recovery and membrane operating conditions. A generic fixed dose is not appropriate for every feed.
Calibration matters
A dosing pump should deliver the intended chemical rate across changing feed flow. Calibration and tank concentration should be checked periodically.
Overdosing is not a complete solution
More chemical cannot compensate indefinitely for very high scaling risk or incorrect system recovery. Design should remain within realistic operating limits.
