This article explains the treatment objective, the design information that matters and the operating checks that help keep the system practical after installation.
Confirm the design flow basis
A stated 20 m³/hr capacity should identify whether it is continuous design flow, peak flow or treated-water output. Operating hours and storage affect the true daily production requirement. Future demand should be considered without oversizing every component.
Hydraulics become more important at larger flow
Pipe velocity, pump duty, pressure loss and valve sizing should be checked across clean and dirty filter conditions. Backwash flow can be substantial, so the source, drain and recovery arrangement must support it without starving other plant operations.
Plan maintenance without stopping the facility
For critical applications, designers may consider duty/standby pumps, sectional isolation or parallel treatment units where justified. Instrumentation and sampling points should allow operators to understand each stage rather than relying on one final outlet reading.

Send the water source, intended use, approximate demand and any available test report. Waterwise Bangladesh can review the requirement and discuss an appropriate treatment approach.
